Blair Cudmore was an integral part of the Niagara College volleyball program both as a player and coach.
Following an impressive career as a player for the Knights
men’s volleyball team, Cudmore was hired as a head coach in
1994. He would go onto compile an impressive
93 wins and 31 losses over seven seasons. During a two-year span,
Niagara lost only one match in Ontario and won two consecutive OCAA
west region titles, two OCAA Championship gold medals, and twice
finished fourth at the CCAA National Championships. Cudmore was
selected as the 2001 OCAA west region Coach of the Year.
In his final year as coach, Cudmore lead his players to their third consecutive OCAA west region title, an OCAA silver medal and a third trip to the National Championships.
