Brenda Mullins, a native of Belle River had a successful
collegiate basketball career with the St.Clair Saints. In her
rookie season, Mullins and her Saints were West Region Champions
earning a berth into the Provincial Championships where she was
recognized as an OCAA Championship All-Star and led her Saints to
the Bronze medal. In 1982-83, Mullins was named captain of the
team, as well as earning the St.Clair Athletics ‘Award of
Distinction.’ During her final season, Mullins was the OCAA
leading scorer, averaging an exceptional 22.6 PPG. For her
outstanding season, Mullins was recognized as an OCAA First Team
All-Star and a CCAA All-Canadian. Off the basketball court, Mullins
was a member of the honour roll with a 3.63 GPA and was awarded
Intramural Athlete of the Year. Following her colligate career,
St.Clair College inducted her into their Hall of Fame.
