While at Centennial College, Coreen Flemming was a catalyst in the initiation of the OCAA women’s field hockey and women’s fastball programs. She was a strong supporter of the OCAA Women’s Sport Development Committee, on which she served as Chair in 1985-86 and 1986-87. During her time at Centennial, Flemming served as the 4th Vice President of the OCAA Executive Committee (1985-86 to 1986-87) and served as women’s hockey Senior Convenor (1983-84 to 1984-85). In 1990 Coreen Flemming was honoured by the OCAA with the presentation of a Shield Award.
