Denise Perrier was a key member of the Humber Hawks first-ever OCAA Women’s Basketball Championship team in 1992-93, and was named to the championship all-star team. She was also a league all-star that same season, and in the previous season she was both a league all-star and an All-Canadian.

Humber presented Perrier with their Female Athlete of the Year award in 1992-93, and retired her jersey number when her college days were over. A member of the Humber Hall of Fame, Perrier was named to the OCAA Women’s Basketball All-Millennium team in 2000.
