Chatham, Ontario native Henry Koscielski recorded some of the best numbers in OCAA men’s basketball history as a member of the St. Clair Saints. Koscielski currently sits in fifth place in all-time scoring with 1,227 points (522 FG and 173 FT). During one span, he registered double digit scoring in sixty consecutive games (including exhibition).
Koscielski was an OCAA league all-star in 1977-78 and an All-Canadian that same season. He was St. Clair’s team MVP in 1976-77 and 1977-78 while leading the team in scoring both seasons. The Saints named him their Male Athlete of the Year in 1976-77 and after his collegiate career he was inducted into the St. Clair Athletics Hall of Fame.
