J.C. (Jack) Hutcheson was a faculty member at Conestoga College for 18 years. During his tenure he was recognized throughout the college as a staunch supporter of the college athletic program and helped to develop the Conestoga Recreation Centre. Hutcheson served as the Senior Convenor for golf during the 1978-79 and 1979-80 seasons. In addition he was the head coach of the college’s golf team for 17 years and won the men’s team championship in his final season of 1984-85.
He was inducted into the Conestoga College Athletic and Recreation Hall of Fame in 1993 and was honoured by the OCAA with the presentation of a Shield Award in 1987.
