Juan Carlos Camus began his stellar collegiate soccer career in the OCAA with Durham College in 1988.
In just his freshman season, he led the entire OCAA in scoring by posting 17 goals while leading the Lords to an undefeated OCAA Championship season. He was one of the most dangerous offensive strikers in the OCAA during his three years. He was also awarded the East Region Scoring Champion in 1988-1989.
Every game he played brought excitement for the fans every time he stepped on the field. There was always the potential for the next great highlight reel goal to come from his foot. His abilities and talent helped lead Durham College to two OCAA Championship medals; gold in 1988-89 and silver in 1989-90. Juan ranks a remarkable 6th all-time in career goals scored in the OCAA with a total of 31 goals.
Juan was named a member of the OCAA Men's Soccer All-Millenium Team.
