Julie was a standout player and captain of the Women’s Soccer team at Fanshawe College, as well as a Fanshawe College Athlete of the Year nominee. In 1992, Julie was the Seneca Invitational Tournament All-Star. One year later in 1993, she again found All-Star status when she was named to the CCAA National Championship Tournament All-Star Team.
1994 was a special year for Gracey as she led her Falcons team to an OCAA gold medal and at the Nationals was named a CCAA All-Canadian. Along with all of her accolades, Gracey was also named a two time OCAA Champion. She won back-to-back Ontario titles in 1993 and 1994, and in 1993, she was second in West Division scoring.
Julie completed a three-year Nursing Program in her time at Fanshawe College. Like any varsity Athlete, Julie did an amazing job handling her difficult course load, along with her duties as the Captain of the Women’s Soccer team.
