Cahill also served as Touch Football Convenor in 1993-94.
Laurie dedicated his time and talents to various OCAA committees over the years including the Marketing Committee, Women’s Sport Development Committee, and the Ways and Means Committee. Cahill initiated the OCAA Sweepstakes fundraising program, and he worked with Lori Lyle of the OCAA office to turn this into a highly successful financial venture, which benefited the entire OCAA.
In 2001 the OCAA recognized Laurie’s contributions by presenting him with a Shield Award.
