Marvin Snowden had a record-setting career with the George Brown Huskies, establishing four records that still exist today. In 1973-74 Snowden established single season records for most points (582) and most 2-point field goals (264), as well as a single game record for most points (87). In 1974-75 he set the record for most 2-point field goals in a single game with 41.
The Huskies won the OCAA title in both of Snowden’s years with the team. In 1974-75 they went on to win National Championship with Snowden being named the MVP of the Championships. A two-time OCAA all star, Snowden along with teammate Val Pozzan were named George Brown’s Co-Athletes of the Year in 1975. He was also named to the OCAA Men’s Basketball All-Millennium team in 2000.
