A native of Gads Hill near Stratford, Ontario, Matt Stevers played basketball for Lambton College and today remains in Lambton's history books as the all-time scoring leader with an average of 17.96 points per game. He scored 108 field goals in the 2003-04 season alone, 39 of which were three-point field goals.
Stevers was also named a first team All-Star in 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons. He was awarded for his athletic and academic achievement in 2004 earning the CCAA Academic All-Canadian Award and was also named Lambton College’s Male Athlete of the Year.
