In three seasons with the Georgian Grizzlies, Mike Hoffman established himself as one of the most prolific scorers in the history of OCAA hockey. In the 1990-91 season, Hoffman scored 56 goals and 105 points, establishing two scoring records that still stand today. His 188 career points place him fifth on the all-time scoring list.
Hoffman and his teammates captured the silver medal at the 1989-90 OCAA Championships. In his record setting ’90-’91 season he was selected a first team all-star as the Grizzlies went on to win the OCAA title, a feat they repeated the following year.
In 1990-91, Hoffman was named Georgian’s Male Athlete of the Year, and in 2000 he was selected to the OCAA Men’s Hockey All-Millennium team.
