Penny Parkes (Scott) is a shared Inductee from Fanshawe and St. Clair College having attended and competed at both schools for one season. However, in that short time Parkes won a gold medal at Fanshawe (1988) and at St. Clair (1991) in Ladies Singles. Parkes went on to win a bronze medal at the National Championships in 1991, which is the highest finish ever by a St. Clair Badminton player.
She completed the Dental Hygiene program between the two schools and is now a resident of Woodstock.
Penny was also named a member of the OCAA women's badminton All-Millennium Team.
