As Humber’s starting goaltender in the mid-‘80s, Scott Cooper backstopped the Hawks to two consecutive provincial championships. In both years, Humber went on to win the silver medal at the CCAA Championships.

Cooper was an OCAA all-star in 1985-86, and then enjoyed his finest season in 1986-87 when he was an all-star, a member of the CCAA All-Canadian team, and Humber’s Male Athlete of the Year.

Cooper has been inducted in the Humber Hall of Fame, and in 2002 had his jersey number retired. In 2000 he was named to the OCAA Men’s Hockey All-Millennium team.
