Shelly Bertrand enjoyed a great career at Lambton College playing two seasons with the Lions.

During her playing career she was named Lambton College Female Athlete of the Year in the 2001-02 season and was awarded the Lambton College Alumni Excellence award the same year.

She also finished the with 3.2 points per game in the 2001-02 season, which is second all-time in Lambton College women's volleyball history. Bertrand is a graduate of the Fire Science program at Lambton College.
