Terry Talsma enjoyed a successful collegiate career with the Redeemer Royals, participating in soccer, volleyball, and indoor soccer. Talsma was a three-time team MVP in both soccer and volleyball, and was a league all-star in each of his four seasons in volleyball. In 1992-93, he was championship all-star in powering the Royals to a Division II silver medal.

In soccer, Talsma was a league all-star on three occasions, and is currently in seventh place on the OCAA’s all-time scoring list with 27 goals.

In total, Talsma’s career saw him named to seven all-star teams. In 2000 he was named to the OCAA Men’s Volleyball All-Millennium team, the same year he was inducted into the Redeemer Athletics Hall of Fame.
