Tracy Van Dijk excelled at three OCAA sports during her four year collegiate career. Playing soccer, indoor soccer, and women’s volleyball, Van Dijk was team MVP a total of six times.
In outdoor soccer, Van Dijk was a two-time league all-star and led the league in scoring in 1993-94. A key member of Redeemer’s silver medal winning team in 1990-91, Van Dijk sits in sixth place on the OCAA all-time scoring list with 24 career goals.
Van Dijk was a member of Redeemer’s 1990-91 Championship indoor soccer team, and also played on their bronze medal team in 1992-93. As a volleyball player she was her team’s MVP for three seasons.
Academics was another area that Van Dijk excelled at, and in 1992-93 she received the Scholar/Athlete award from Redeemer. She has also been inducted into the Redeemer Athletics’ Hall of Fame.
