The OCAA Hall of Fame is dedicated to the recognition of
extraordinary contributions and accomplishments within collegiate
sports in Ontario.
The 344 honoured members include student-athletes, coaches and
builders of the Association.
In May 2013, 48 new inductees were recognized in the sixth OCAA
Hall of Fame Ceremony at the Delta London Armouries in London, Ont.
The OCAA Hall of Fame adds new inductees every two years.
Basis of Selection of Candidates
Inductees are chosen on the basis of their athletic skills and
abilities, fair play, leadership, individual statistics, and team
accomplishments both while in the OCAA and/or at a higher level
after their college career. All persons elected have graduated from
their respective institutions.
Inductees are chosen on the basis of their ability to develop
athletes, the success of their teams and/or athletes, as well as
their integrity, fair play, leadership, and commitment to their
college and the OCAA.
Inductees are chosen on the basis of distinguishing themselves
through their extraordinary and/or exceptional contributions to the
development and advancement of the OCAA as a member of the
executive committee, as a convenor, or as a committee chair, and
for their devotion to the OCAA.
