OCAA SELECTS 2013-14 PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP HOSTS
LONDON, Ont. - The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) has selected hosts for the 2013-14 OCAA championships.
LONDON, Ont. - The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) has selected hosts for the 2013-14 OCAA championships.
With the exception of men's and women's rugby, OCAA members went through a bid process for hosting OCAA championships, regionals, and all-star games which got final approval at the OCAA annual general meeting in London, Ont. on Thursday. Rugby championships are hosted by the highest remaining seed.
In the sports of volleyball and basketball, OCAA championship hosts automatically qualify for the tournament.
In addition to OCAA championships, three schools in Ontario will host Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association national championship. Humber College hosts cross country on Nov. 9, 2013; Seneca College hosts women's volleyball March 5-8, 2014; and Sault College hosts curling March 18-22, 2014.
