A double defeat for Mohawk's volleyball teams in London Friday night (Nov. 11).
The men lost 3-1 to Fanshawe. The scores were 14-25, 17-25, 25-19, 22-25.
Justin Scapinello had 14 kills one stuff block and two service aces for Mohawk. Phil Youngblut contributed 11 kills and one block while Mike Douglas had four kills and four blocks.
"(We) came out very slow in the opener and couldn't pass the ball to run an offence," said Mountaineers' coach Matt Schnarr. "Our serve and pass has to become more consistent to allow us to find rhythm in our matches. We got aced 14 times by our opponent and that is unacceptable. We got some hard work ahead of us."
The Falcons squared their mark at 2-2, while Mohawk fell to 1-1.
