HUMBER FINISHES SIXTH AT WOMEN'S SOCCER NATIONALS
QUEBEC CITY - The Humber Hawks dropped the fifth place game at the 2011 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Soccer National Championships on Saturday, losing 2-1 to the University of King's College Blue Devils.
QUEBEC CITY - The Humber Hawks dropped the fifth place game at the 2011 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Soccer National Championships on Saturday, losing 2-1 in a shootout to the University of King's College Blue Devils.
Humber took the lead at the 45th minute with goal from Frittany Szcerbakow.
The Blue Devils tied the match in the dying seconds in the 92th minute with a goal from Sarah Kraus. The game went to a shootout, which UKC won 5-3.
Nicole Carvalho was named player of the game for Humber. UKC's player of the game was Irene Flatley.
