LONDON, Ont. - A change is coming at the helm of the Fanshawe Women's Varsity Volleyball program as Head Coach Lloyd Rumble (Stratford, Ont.) has tendered his resignation.
The 2002-03 season marked the return of varsity volleyball to Fanshawe College Athletics and also the start of Rumble's tenure with the program.
Through nine seasons, the achievements of his program were highlighted by an OCAA Bronze Medal last season and a West Division Championship in 2007-08.
His teams amassed a regular season winning record of almost 70 percent (101-46) and a tournament winning percentage of over 65 percent (30-16).
Rumble will continue to operate his girl's elite volleyball camp at Fanshawe College.
The Fanshawe Athletic department expects an official announcement on personnel hiring for the women's volleyball program will be made no later than Thursday, July 30, 2011.
