 March 20, 2009 - The Stars are ready to shine on OCAA All-Star Saturday
OCAA Volleyball All-Star Games set to go on March 21th at Fleming College -PSWC.
Peterborough, Ont. - Ontario Volleyball All-Stars from across the province will be gathering at the Fleming College-Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre on Saturday, March 21, 2009 to participate in the 16th annual Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Volleyball All-Star Games.
Over 60 athletes from 20 colleges across Ontario will be participating in this year's event. The day will start off with a players and coaches clinic conducted by Jay Trepanier- OVA Technical director and former National team member.The main event will feature the 16 th edition of the All-Star games, with the women's game at 3:30 p.m. followed by the men's game at 5:30 p.m.
"We are always looking forward to All-Star Saturday on campus at Fleming College and this is our 3 rd time hosting the event!" said Fred Batley, Fleming College Athletic Director. "If you are a volleyball fan, PSWC is the place to be as All-Star Saturday is always a packed house with great action taking place! The event will feature the top volleyball players across the province. We look forward to having members of the community come out to support the players."
