Seneca won its first-ever national championship in women's curling, adding to their provincial title. The Sting had the best record in the round robin at 6-1, earning a trip directly into the national gold medal match. They eventually faced Ontario rival and defending champion Fanshawe. Seneca poured it on from the get go, jumping to a 6-0 advantage before winning 8-4.
