One significant change is in men’s Division I rugby, where the higher seeded team will host the OCAA championship. The gold medal game has been held at a neutral site in recent years.
In addition, both OCAA basketball championships will adopt a “back door bronze” tournament format similar to volleyball, where losing teams on Day 1 enter a bronze medal round. In previous years, losing teams on Day 1 were eliminated from further tournament play.
