OCAA UPDATE REGARDING OPSEU WORK STOPPAGE
TORONTO - As a result of the continued Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT) support staff work stoppage at Ontario's 24 colleges, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced today the postponement of all remaining intercollegiate games in its fall league sports.

colleges, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA)
announced today the postponement of all remaining intercollegiate
games in its fall league sports.
The OCAA will begin developing modified schedules for all of its
fall league sports next week. The modified schedules will begin
three days after the work stoppage ends or the weekend of Sept.
30-Oct. 1, if the work stoppage has not ended by Sept. 28.
The OCAA golf championships will take place as originally scheduled
at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club from Oct. 3-5.
The OCAA has no plans to cancel any of its varsity sports seasons
at this time.
