HOFFMAN, ALBATH NAMED OCAA ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

TORONTO - The following have been named Ontario Colleges
Athletic Association (OCAA) student-athletes of the week for the
period ending Sunday, Oct. 9.
MALE: Mark Hoffman, Humber, Men's Golf
Mark Hoffman came back from eight strokes down at
the OCAA golf championships to claim his second consecutive OCAA
men's individual title, one shot better than Humber teammate
Adrian Cord. Hoffman posted a four-under 68 in the
final round for a 54-hole total of 216. Both Hoffman and Cord
represented Canada last August at the Summer Universiade in
Shenzhen, China.
FEMALE: Tiffany Albath, Durham, Women's Golf
Tiffany Albath won the OCAA women's individual
title at the OCAA golf championships, posting back-to-back rounds
of 79 for a 54-hole total of 242. Albath finished three strokes
better than last year's champion and teammate Kayleigh
Kraemer. Both Albath and Kraemer are from Germany. Albath
was the OCAA silver medalist last season.
