SWEENEY, SIEMON NAMED OCAA ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
TORONTO - The following have been named Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) student-athletes of the week for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 30.

Athletic Association (OCAA) student-athletes of the week for the
period ending Sunday, Oct. 30.
MALE: Sean Sweeney, George Brown, Cross
Country
Sean Sweeney of George Brown won the 2011 OCAA
men's individual cross country title on Oct. 29 at the Old Fort
Henry course in Kingston, Ont. A two-time OCAA bronze medalist,
Sweeney won his first OCAA title in a time of 25:34, thirty seconds
ahead of his closest rival. Sweeney is the first George Brown
student-athlete to win the OCAA men's individual title since
1988.
FEMALE: Vicky Siemon, Humber, Cross Country
Vicky Siemon of Humber won the 2011 OCAA women's
individual cross country title on Oct. 29 at the Old Fort Henry
course in Kingston, Ont. Siemon won her first-ever OCAA medal in a
time of 18:06, forty-one seconds ahead of her closest rival. Siemon
also helped lead Humber to the OCAA women's and overall team
titles. She is the first Humber student-athlete in five years to
win the OCAA women's individual title.
