55 - Number of consecutive regular season
victories by Sheridan in women's basketball before losing 77-56 on
Wednesday to Fanshawe. Ironically, it was Fanshawe that handed
Sheridan its last regular season defeat back in 2007. Sheridan went
undefeated in three straight regular seasons.
2:39 - The amount, in minutes, that Humber's
Vicky Siemon shaved off her previous OCAA
championship time to win the 2011 women's individual cross country
title. Siemon finished in 12th place in 2010 with a 5 km time of
20:45, and won the 2011 race in 18:06.
18 - Number of matches Loyalist has gone
undefeated in OCAA men's rugby, including the post-season. The
two-time defending OCAA Division II champions have gone 16-0-2
during a three-year period. Loyalist hosts Georgian in a semi-final
match on Saturday.
13 - Number of years since Conestoga won an OCAA
medal in men's soccer. Conestoga won bronze in 1998, and matched
the feat this season. Conestoga's Nathan Greene
was named a championship all-star.
3 - Number of OCAA cross country individual
medals won by George Brown's Sean Sweeney and
Erika Houde-Pearce. Sweeney, the 2011 men's
individual champion, won bronze medals in 2008 and 2010.
Houde-Pearce earned a silver medal in 2011 having claimed bronze
the previous two seasons as a member of the Fanshawe team.
58 - Number of consecutive regular season matches
Humber has gone undefeated in OCAA women's soccer. The two-time
OCAA champions have not lost during the regular season since Oct.
1, 2005, a 2-0 defeat against Fanshawe.
86 - Number of points scored by Humber's
Phil Boone in OCAA men's rugby to earn the
Division I scoring championship. Boone scored five tries, made 19
converts and was successful on one penalty kick in five
matches.
30 - Number of points scored by Loyalist's
Connor McCann in OCAA men's rugby to earn the
Division II scoring championship. McCann scored six tries in four
regular season matches.
36 - Number of points scored by Algonquin's
Courtney Mastine in OCAA women's rugby to earn the
scoring championship. Mastine scored four tries and added two
converts and six penalty kicks in six matches.
2 - Number of times one school has won
consecutive OCAA men's and women's soccer championships. Humber has
done the trick both times, sweeping both outdoor soccer banners in
2000 and 2001 and again in 2010 and 2011.
