period ending Sunday, Nov. 27.
MALE: Terrell Bramwell, Humber, Men's
Volleyball
Third-year right side Terrel Bramwell
(Mississauga, Ont.) set a new OCAA single-game record with 36 kills
in a 3-1 (26-24, 25-20, 23-25, 25-21) win over Redeemer on Nov.
22. He was two points shy of his own OCAA single game points
record, with one block and one service ace for 38 total points.
Bramwell has averaged 7.90 points and 6.81 kills per set through
his first five matches to lead OCAA.
FEMALE: Corina Bruni, Algoma, Women's
Basketball
Third-year guard Corina Bruni (Sault Ste. Marie,
Ont.) scored 29 points while adding eight rebounds as Algoma handed
Fanshawe its first loss of the regular season by a 63-50 result on
Nov. 26. Bruni was the team's co-leader with nine points while
adding a game-high 10 rebounds in a 55-31 win over Mohawk on Nov.
25. Algoma (6-2) is tied with Fanshawe and Sheridan in the West
region standings with 12 points.
