OCAA REPRESENTED AT MEN'S NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TRYOUT
GATINEAU, Que. – Canada’s national men’s volleyball teams will begin to take shape this month beginning with this week’s camp to determine the squad for this August’s World University Games in China.
GATINEAU, Que. – Canada’s national men’s
volleyball teams will begin to take shape this month beginning with
this week’s camp to determine the squad for this
August’s World University Games in China.
Three OCAA student-athletes are taking part in the camp, including
Andre Brown of the OCAA champion Humber Hawks, Bryan Davidson from
the Cambrian Golden Shield and Joshua Neadow of the Trent
Excalibur.
Forty-three players are currently at a Canadian men’s
national volleyball team training camp being held at the
squad’s training base at the Centre Sportif in Gatineau. The
camp officially started on Sunday and will continue until
Thursday.
The main objective of this week`s camp is to select the national B
team / World University Games team that will train throughout the
summer and eventually compete at the Universiade. This camp is also
an opportunity for athletes to be evaluated for consideration for
the Senior A Team as well.
