OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's volleyball team
recorded their second 3-0 sweep to begin the season as they
defeated the Fleming Knights at the CRWC.
Set scores in the match were 25-17, 25-14 and 25-12.
David McMann (Elmvale, Ont.) had a big night in the middle for
Durham as he had five kills, one ace and six blocks to lead the
Lords offence with 12 points. Teammate Steve Clarey (Baltimore,
Ont.) finished the night with six kills and one ace while leading
the team with four digs.
Leading the way for Fleming was Brandon Perry who recorded four
kills and two blocks.
Durham is 2-0 to start the season and will for their third
straight win when they head to Loyalist next Wednesday to take on
Loyalist at 8 p.m. The Lancers defeated Trent 3-1 in their season
opener.
