The Niagara College Knights men's volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-20) to the No. 2 ranked Humber College Hawks in the season opener on Thursday night in Etobicoke, Ont.
Millar Gailbraith (Georgetown, Ont.) had four stuff blocks for the Knights.
Head coach Nathan Groenveld also praised the play of setter Brad Wall (St. Catharines, Ont.) for "putting our hitters in some great 1-on-1 hitting situations."
Groenveld gave Humber full credit for "playing a fantastic match."
"They put a tremendous amount of pressure on us from the service line and we had no response for either Terrel Bramwell or Andre Brown."
