OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's volleyball team made quick work of the Cambrian Golden Shield on Sunday as they won by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-12.
2011 CCAA All-Canadian PJ Cornelius (London, Ont.) had a standout game for Durham scoring 16 points, which was his second match of the season.
Dave McMann (Elmvale, Ont.) finished the match with 11 points which included three blocks. With 10 blocks this weekend, McMann is now four shy of number two spot on the OCAA career blocking charts.
Cambrian was led by Chris Irving who had four points in the loss.
Durham is 6-1 on home court this season and 9-3 overall in conference play.
The third place Lords will look to pick up their tenth win on Wednesday night as they travel to Peterborough for a match against Trent (1-10).
