FANSHAWE 3, ST. CLAIR 0 (FINAL)

The St. Clair College men's and women's volleyball teams hosted the Fanshawe Falcons on Wednesday, January 18 to open up their home schedule for the second semester.

In the men's match, the Saints played well but fell to the Falcons by a score of 3-0. Game scores for Fanshawe were 27-25, 25-9 and 25-17.

Curtis Loch led the Saints with 10 kills, 1 stuff block and 2 digs. Josh Lynch also had a big game with 4 kills, 4 service aces, 3 stuff blocks and 6 digs. Rookie libero Paul Wasyluk played some great defense coming up with 12 digs.

With the loss the Saints are still looking for their first win of the season as their record fell to 0-12 while Fanshawe improved their record to 8-4. The Fanshawe men are ranked 5th in Ontario.

Both Saints teams are in action on Friday when they travel to Kitchener to take on the Conestoga Condors.
