DURHAM 3, LA CITE 1 (FINAL)

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's volleyball team earned a split over the weekend as they defeated the La Cite Coyotes 3-1 on Saturday night.

Durham improves to 12-4 in conference action and will head to Toronto next Wednesday night for a big match against the second place Seneca Sting (13-2). Seneca defeated Durham 3-0 earlier in the season.

PJ Cornelius had a game high 17 points for the Lords, scoring 15 kills and two blocks. The 2011 CCAA All-Canadian also had eight digs in the win. Teammate Jordan McFarlane matched his highest point total of the season with 14 points for Durham.

Keith Marier had 20 kills and one block for the Coyotes to lead all scorers in the match.

The Lords regular season finale is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7 against the Loyalist Lancers. Game time at the CRWC is 8 p.m.
