The Mountaineer men edged the Canadore Panthers 3-2 to capture their 7th straight victory.
Mohawk, with a 12-3 record, has a big showdown with Nipissing (12-1) Saturday afternoon. Both teams are four points back of first place Humber (14-1) in the West Region.
