In the men's match, the Saints lost to the Redeemer Royals by a score of 3-0. Game scores for Redeemer were 25-18, 25-20 and 25-11.
Josh Lynch led the Saints with seven kills, two stuff blocks, two service aces and six digs. Curtis Loch had a solid match as well with six kills, one service ace and four digs. With the loss the Saints record fell to 1-16 while Redeemer improved their record to 10-7. The Royals are ranked sixth in Ontario.
Both St. Clair teams wrap up their home and regular season schedules on Sunday when they host the Niagara Knights. The women play at 2 p.m. and the men at 4 p.m.
