The St. Clair College men's and women's volleyball teams hosted the Canadore College Panthers from North Bay on Sunday afternoon at the St. Clair gym.
In the women's match, the Saints got off to a slow start but won by a score of 3-0. Game scores were 25-23, 26-24, and 25-18. St. Clair was led by Kate Zawyrucha with 16 kills, 1 stuff block, 1 ace and 5 digs. Deanna Harris also had a strong match with 10 kills, 1 stuff block and 11 digs. Alee Brecka also chipped in in with 8 kills, 1 service ace, 1 stuff block and 7 digs. The Saints improved to 2-1 on the season while Canadore fell to 0-4.
The Saints are next in action when they travel to London on Wednesday, November 16 to take on the Fanshawe Falcons.
