OTTAWA, Ont. – Durham College dropped the first game of their weekend road trip in Ottawa as they fell 3-0 to the Algonquin Thunder. Set scores in the match were 25-17, 25-20 and 25-10.
Natasha Jakovljevic and Ashley Mulholland led the Lords in scoring with five points apiece. Freshman Melissa Semeniuk had a four-point performance in the loss.
Jori Armishaw led all scorers for Algonquin with 11 points in the win.
Durham is 2-6 this season and will take on the La Cite Coyotes (1-6) on Saturday in Ottawa.
