Frankie Edgecombe (Elmvale) is the 2012-13 OCAA Male Athlete of the Year. The All-Canadian and OCAA West Division All-Star was named Championship MVP at both provincials and nationals, leading Nipissing to its first OCAA and CCAA men's volleyball titles.

Humber Women's Badminton
Humber's Tracy Wong (Richmond Hill, Ont.) is the 2012-13 OCAA Female Athlete of the Year. Along with her partner Renee Yip (Markham), the three-time OCAA Women's Badminton Player of the Year won both the provincial and national gold medals in women's doubles.

Sheridan, Men's Indoor Soccer 
The Sheridan Bruins won their first OCAA men's indoor soccer championship in three seasons. After securing first place in their round robin pool with a 2-1 record, Sheridan edged Seneca 1-0 in the semifinals before downing defending champion Humber 3-0 in the gold medal match.

Humber, Women's Indoor Soccer 
The Humber Hawks tied their own OCAA record by winning their third consecutive women's indoor soccer championship. Humber defeated Seneca 2-0 in the goal medal match. It also marked the third straight season the Hawks won both the outdoor and indoor titles, also a first in OCAA history.
