Romain McCalla put up 29 points against the East Division's top team, the Georgian Grizzlies, on Jan. 9, adding five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block for an all-around impressive effort. The fifth-year guard shot 12-of-21 (57.1 per cent) from the field. Romain improved his offensive output the following day, scoring 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting (55.0 per cent) while adding four rebounds, one assist and three steals against the Seneca Sting. Romain is currently second among all OCAA players averaging 24.3 points per game.
