Ashlee LaForme had a standout week at the plate and in the pitching circle. Ashlee swatted a home run — a career-first — in a 3-2 win over the Conestoga Condors on Sept. 28, finishing with a .429 average over four games, with six hits, five runs scored and one RBI. In that same victory, the third-year player threw a complete game, allowing two runs and striking out a pair, earning the win. LaForme also appeared in relief in Game 2 against the Condors, working 1.1 innings while giving up one hit and striking out one.
