TECUMSEH, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's baseball team closed out the month of September in style with an 8-0 win over Fanshawe College Tuesday night at Lacasse Park in Tecumseh, Ont.

Saints pitcher Taylor Pappin (Brantford, Ont.) earned his third win of the season with a complete game one-hit shutout and struck out 10 batters in the process. The win moves the Saints OCAA-best record to 15-1 with four games remaining on the schedule.

The Saints finish their regular season schedule this weekend with four games at Lacasse Park in Tecumseh. St. Clair will host second place Humber College (Etobicoke, Ont.) Saturday in a doubleheader with game times of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

They close out the weekend with another doubleheader Sunday against fifth place George Brown College (Toronto) also with game times of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
