OSHAWA, Ont. – Durham College picked up back-to-back wins over Conestoga College to improve to 8-1 in conference action this season.
Kayla MacLean earned the complete game victory in game one, allowing one earned run and striking out eight Conestoga batters.
Both Sydney Kuzuska and Melissa Semeniuk went 3-for-4 at the plate, combining for three runs and five RBIs. Semeniuk is currently second in OCAA hitting with a .514 average.
In game two, Kuzuska continued to have a hot bat as she went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Samantha Bryant had a three-hit night as she was 3-for-4 while Lydia Kalbfleisch and Stephanie McLachlin both had multi-hit games.
Kristine Miles earned the win allowing one run in four innings pitched. Kalbfleisch allowed one unearned run in two innings pitched.
