KITCHENER, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's softball team finished their OCAA opening weekend road trip with a split of a doubleheader at Budd Park in Kitchener, Ont., on Sunday against Conestoga College.

The Saints were shut-out 4-0 in the opener but responded with an 11-3 victory to move their record to 2-2 on the season.

Reigning OCAA player of the year Alexa Georgiou (Windsor, Ont./Assumption) pitched both ends of the doubleheader Sunday to get her first action on the mound for St. Clair.

The Saints come home this weekend to face Humber College (Etobicoke, Ont.) Saturday at 2 p.m. and a doubleheader Sunday at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. against Durham College (Oshawa, Ont.) all at the newly refurbished campus diamond.
