A single-division format will remain for 2025 as teams will play a modified double round robin format consisting of one doubleheader against each club, plus three additional doubleheaders with opponents based on last year's standings totalling 20 games each.
The regular season opens with a single doubleheader as the Conestoga Condors host the Humber Hawks on Sept. 5. The remaining six teams see action the following day, as the Fanshawe Falcons host the Mohawk Mountaineers, the Sheridan Bruins visit the Lambton Lions, and the defending champion Durham Lords travel to the St. Clair Saints.
Fans will have to wait another month to witness an anticipated rematch of last season's OCAA gold medal game between Durham and Humber, taking place Oct. 6 in Toronto.
Conestoga, Humber, Mohawk and Sheridan will play an extra doubleheader against each other to round out their regular season schedules. Ditto for Durham, Fanshawe, Lambton and St. Clair.
A total of 80 games are planned over a span of 36 days. The top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season - including host Humber - move on to the OCAA championship. (If Humber finishes below sixth place, it will replace the sixth seed.)
The modified double knockout tournament will take place Oct. 16-18 at Connorvale Park in Toronto's west end. The top two teams advance directly to the double knockout, while the remaining four play a sudden death game to advance to the double knockout stage.
All OCAA schedules for the 2025-26 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
