SENECA STING PLAY HOST TO T.O. CAMPUS SPORTS ON ROGERSTV
RogersTV Toronto’s T.O. Campus Sports will host an episode from Seneca College’s Newnham Campus this week, starting on Monday, March 26 at 7 p.m. on RogersTV Toronto, with student-athletes, coaches and staff figuring prominently in the program.

Seneca College's Newnham Campus next week, starting on Monday,
March 26 at 7 p.m. on RogersTV Toronto, with student-athletes,
coaches and staff figuring prominently in the program. The episode
will re-air multiple times throughout the week (see scheduling
details below).
The episode will feature Linda Stapleton,
Director of Sport and Recreation at Seneca, discussing the
2011-2012 season that was for the Sting, and the future of
athletics and recreation at the college; Varsity Women's Basketball
Head Coach, Craig Walker, and Sting rookie
Paige Smith, a student in the Business
Administration – Human Resources program, from Belleville,
Ont., discussing their silver-medal-winning varsity season; the
mixed doubles badminton pair of Sanjay Ashokkumar,
an International Accounting and Finance student from Mississauga,
Ont., and Patricia Lau, an Early Childhood
Education student from Toronto, talking about their national
championship bronze medal experience; and head athletic therapist,
Steve Kopas, on the role of his staff in getting
student-athletes back on the court or field after injuries.
Finally, Seneca cross-country runner and Bulgarian international
student Nik Kolev, will talk about his new life as
a varsity athlete in Canada.
The episode will air on Rogers Channel 10 in Toronto, 63 in
Scarborough.
