ANCASTER, Ont. - On Saturday, Fanshawe defeated the Redeemer Royals by a final score of 81-59.
The teams battled back and forth in the first half and Fanshawe held a one-point lead, 37-36, heading into the third quarter.
The Falcons offence exploded in the second half of the game, putting up 44 points to Redeemer's 23.
Fanshawe's Dexton Freemantle led the Falcons with 19 points and eight rebounds.
Fanshawe returns to its home court to host the St. Clair Saints (5-2) on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. The Saints lead the league in three-point shooting and are currently one spot ahead of the Falcons in the OCAA West Division standings.
