BRAMPTON, Ont. - Less than 24 hours after suffering quarter-final losses, the George Brown Huskies and Durham Lords managed to keep their hopes of winning a medal at the 2014 belairdirect OCAA Men's Basketball Championship alive, picking up wins in the bronze medal quarter-finals.
In the first game, Durham managed to hold off Seneca 78-75 in a game that was close the entire way, with the largest lead by either side at any point being seven points.
Ajahmo Clarke led Durham with 20 points while Eric Smith (15), Aron Nairn (14) and Saliym Cadogan (12) also netting double figures.
Calmar Morgan scored a game-high 25 to led Seneca with Jamal Boyce and Elijah Brown chipping in with 23 and 13 respectively.
George Brown will play in the 10 a.m. bronze semi-final, awaiting the loser of the first championship semi-final, while Durham will play at 12 p.m. against the loser of the 8 p.m. semi.
